EA Sports To Release Wide Range Of Toys

Global computer animator, EA Sports has announced that they will be providing the branding for a new range of sports equipment created by Toy Island. The high tech “virtual coaching tools”, which will use motion sensors, are being designed for children of the ages of three to twelve which is a very large and broad spectrum.

The various sports that the equipment will be built for is baseball, American Football, Basketball, Hockey and ‘Soccer’ (Football). There is even talk that they may bring out their own range of surfboards. EA Sports boss Peter Moore said that “Our goal is to take the EA Sports brand much deeper into the fabric of sports, and into new markets that allow more people to unleash their inner spirit of both sports and competition.
Considering that EA Sports are more known for their prominence in the computer game industry this is a very interesting development for the company. It will add so much to the already enormous brand and is sure to almost double their profits. This new idea will also open the doors for new relationships to be carved with local retailers and will get the EA Sports brand recognised on a much larger scale than ever before. Among the aids due to be released you can expect things like, footballs, shin pads, football boots, action figures, snowboards and many more are still to be announced.

It is understandable that EA will be looking to branch out of the norm, especially in such an un-predictable time in terms of our global economy. It is pretty wise of EA to be looking outside of computer animation and into toy making because it is broadening their profit revenue stream. Many companies have been put into liquidation recently because of their lack of knowledge on the current economic market. Cold weather and auto problems

There are a lot of changes as we go from summer into winter.Obviously, one of them is the weather.But do you know that our cars are affected also by weather change?  It seems that there are more problems in the winter with cars.Your car would have a great chance of breaking down if you live in a city with a harsh weather.In this article we would be talking about how weather can affect your car’s performance.

In my San Marcos auto repair service the biggest cold weather problem are dead batteries.The reason for this is because when it is cold your battery has more work to do.And that would result to it running harder.Your headlights are used more because the daylight is shorter in winter time.And a heater drains the battery more compared to an air conditioning.  So the best thing to do is to make sure your battery is in good condition going into a harsh winter.

Next problem that happens in the cold weather are frozen fuel lines.  This isn’t a big auto problem for my Carlsbad auto repair service.  But this is a headache for car owners in cities with very cold weather.  What happens is if you let your car run low on fuel condensation forms.And it would freeze when the weather is cold and would stop the fuel from flowing.  The best way to avoid that is to not let your fuel run low in the winter.

Tire pressure is another one of those problems when it is cold.Cold weather can make tires lose their pressure.This would be bad because it can hasten the rate of making the tires go bald.  Bald tires won’t do well on icy conditions.So this problem is a serious one because it can be fatal.So you must make it a point also to always check the pressure of the tires of your car.

So those are some of the most common auto problems during cold season.Doing the tips mentioned above will lead to prevention of some of those problems.And if the weather is very cold you do not want to encounter those problems.

Ways to sell more at trade shows

One of the most underutilized ways to promote a business and sell a product is a trade show.  Businesses don’t realize how much money can be made at a trade show.  But you can’t just show up at a trade show and expect to make a bunch of sales.You must do a lot of things so that your product can gather attention.If you can do all of those things then you can sell a lot of your products.In this article, that would be what we are going to talk about.

First thing you must realize at a trade show is you are competing for people’s attention.Once you realize that you would know that image is everything.  You have to set up a portable trade show display that will attract more attention. So you do that by having a great set up.Everything must look professional.Once you do that then you are on the right track.

Another thing you need to ahve are retractable banner stands.Yes, you may have your booth already.  But next to it you will still need something that will bring more attention to it.  Retractable banner stands do that very well.  They are going to be your signal to the people at the trade show to come on over.You must first have a very artistic and attention grabbing image of your business or a beautiful logo.It has to be interesting so that people would come near your booth.  Once you do that you can then let your people do the selling.

Of course bringing people over to your tradeshow booth is just the beginning. You must have good salespeople there.They should know your product from the inside out.  They must be able to present it well.Because if they are not good salesperson then your business in trade shows will not profit.

So there you have the key to making more sales.  You have to have attractive displays and booths.And you also have to put good salesperson in your booth.

I may not be an environmentalist but when I came across this particular post; I was pleased to see some effort being put to protect the environment. Yes, of late human activities have laid a threat to our environment which in turn is a threat to the world. Margaret Mead, the famous anthropologist, was right when she said - We won’t have a society if we destroy the environment.

Those who do not know, Cadmium and Lead in cell phones can cause serious problems to our environment. Also, the increased use of mobiles is adding to global warming.  Well, the environmentalists will be glad to know that Samsung is soon going to launch an eco-friendly mobile handset that is made of non-toxic materials. In fact, the novel Samsung cell phone is made of waste plastic after recycling these harmful plastic discarded as garbage.

Blue Ray Discs - A Closer Look

Blue ray discs are the latest breakthrough in technology. This new optical disc format is a proud development of the Blu Ray Disc Association (BDA) that include HP, Dell, LG, Hitachi, Apple, Samsung, Panasonic, JVC, Sony, Mitsubishi, Philips, Pioneer, Sharp, Thomson, and TDK. The Blu Ray Disc Association comprises one hundred and eighty of the globe’s frontline PC makers, media and consumer electronics producers.

Just as the name denotes, the blue ray discs use a blue-violet laser to access data as against the existing technology of red laser. A blue-violet laser (405nm) has a far shorter wavelength than a red laser (650nm) making it feasible to focus the laser spot with superior precision. The plus point of this is that it allows data to be held in smaller space as the data could be squeezed in compactly which in turn allows the user to store extra data on the disc even though the disc is more or less the same size as a compact disc or a DVD. Additionally, blue ray discs offer a large storage capacity. A single-layer blue ray disc can store up to 27GB of data which is more than 2 hours of high-definition video and 13hours hours of standard video. The dual-layer blue ray disc can store 50GB of data which is 4.5hours of high-definition video and more than 20hours of a standard video.

Blue ray discs are the perfect definition of the ultimate user experience. It further allows the recording, rewriting, playback and distribution of high-definition videos. The blu ray discs have been founded on the bare disc physical form factor which makes it compatible with CDs and DVDs.

Blue ray discs are also light on the manufacturers since these are built by injection-molding process on a single 1.1-mm disc compared to the traditional which thereby reduces costs. This savings balances out the expenses of adding the protective layer required on blue ray discs which means that the end price cannot be very different from the price of a regular DVD. Blue ray discs also have a higher data transfer rate of 36Mbps than the DVD’s of today that transfer data at the speed of 10Mbps. This means that it would take only an hour and a half to record 25GB of data onto a blue ray disc.

Originally, the existing conventional DVDs and compact discs were introduced with just read-only formats. Anyway, the blue ray discs hope to be introduced in a comprehensive range of formats that is to include -ROM (read-only), BD-R (recordable) and BD-RE (rewritable).
